All in one, accurately strips the jacket, cores out the dielectric, strips and bevels the aluminum sheath. New design conveniently attaches the jacket stripper body (QJST) to the main body of the coring and stripping tool by means of a "QUICK-CHANGE" rotating body ring. QJST color coded jacket body is removed and used in a 2 step operation when using flooded cables. Step 1: Remove the jacket with the removable QJST. Step 2: Remove flooding compound from cable and use the QCST coring and stripping tool body to complete the preparation. Jacket stripping body (QJST), when used separately to remove the jacket on the flooded cable, is uniquely designed to automatically provide 3 1/2" (88.9mm) of jacket removal when rotated to the end of the body. Jacket stripper body and coring/stripping tool guide sleeve are all COLOR CODED for easy cable identification. Chambered strip stop is factory installed. A 1" stop for 412-750 tools and a 1 1/16" stop for 840-1160 tools. Pre-set jacket blade assures no scoring or nicking of aluminum sheath. Manual or drill operation. QCST tools have a standard "T" handle with a built-in 3/8" drill adapter. Rugged, durable, all metal construction.
